Tuesday News and Updates

Good morning. It's Tuesday, the week is in full swing, and life goes on, whether you want it to or not.

Nope, no bad news this week. Just feeling a little sarcastic, I suppose. Must be the heat. I'm working on a Christmas story, and I gotta admit, with these unbelievable summer temperatures, it's hard to think winter-time. Flip the coin again, and I can look at it this way: my story doesn't take place in a snowy landscape, so I guess it's all good.

My news this week is not about me, per se, but about my great publishers: Total E-Bound and Changeling Press. Take a look and see what's up...

First, Total E-Bound is celebrating it's release of a new line of books: Clandestine Classics. Yesterday saw the unveiling of the first five, with plenty more to come. Check out my post from yesterday or click above to read more about these great books.

Tuesday's News and Updates

Today I have some bits that come to you a little late, but I do have some terrific news to share as well!

  • This past Sunday I hopped over to Total E-Bound's blog, Hitting the Hot Spot. My post was on gutter minds - do you have one, too? It's never to late to drop by and leave your two cents. :)

  • Yesterday I was over at my bi-weekly spot at Castles and Guns. I love to sink my teeth into some non-romance books every now and again. James Rollins, anyone?

  • The summer time heat has got to be getting to you by now. I've personally had more than my share of enough. Cool down with Changeling Press' Christmas in July sale. There's only one week left! The deets: buy any Seasonal Themed novella from CP, enter discount code ChristmasinJuly when you check out, and your entire order gets 10 % off! Don't forget to check out Emmy's Wish while you're looking. Lots of literal, ice-melting hijinks in this one!

  • *Time for The Great News:* I have signed a contract for Serena's Prince with Changeling Press! Yea! As part of their Forever Wicked line, this story will be my take on The Frog Prince. Now, I know you're scratching your head - how can a frog be sexy? But something that's always bothered me about the original tale is how the girl throws the frog against the wall, he turns into a prince, and they live happily ever after. Really? If I were that prince, I'd be pissed as heck. Soooo, with that thought in mind, and tossing in some other cool elements, Serena's Prince emerged. Coming later this summer, expect a hot, intense, BDSM take on The Frog Prince. Serena's Prince: A frog, a curse, and a broken promise. Sometimes punishment can be it's own reward...

Tuesday's News and Updates

Hi everyone. Today's news is short and brief. I've been taking some time lately to straighten up around the house. Eeek, I know. But school starts for us in a few weeks. This means my "free" time will be cut back, so I need to make all the arrangements to have a half-way sorted house.

In writing news, I'm working on a short and hot Christmas story. If you thought Emmy's Wish melted your cold heart, wait until this Christmas!

The Fires of Beltane is now available at Amazon.com. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/The-Fires-of-Beltaine-ebook/dp/B008G6S34K  Now you can get this sexy horror for your Kindle!

Yep, that's about it for this week. Oh, and huge kudos go out to my DH. Last week, while I was outside every day volunteering at a day camp, my DH forwarded all my posts for me. Awesome!

I'll see you tomorrow...

Tuesday's News and Updates

I trust you are enjoying your summer. Mine is HOT - in a most uncomfortable way. I can't remember a summer where the temperatures reached this hot, in many, many years. Days upon days of 100+. Give me something to cool down with, please.

On the other hand, sometimes hot is a good thing. Take the smokin' hot summer sale going on over at Changeling Press all month. Buy any Seasonal Theme novella at Changeling Press in July and get 10 % off your whole order -- use the discount code ChristmasinJuly. Here is the direct link to the seasonal themed books:

What else...?

I turned my BDSM fairy tale into my editor.

I'm beginning work on a Christmas short.

I've started reading James Rollins book, The Devil's Colony. Okay, I know I'm a book behind. Always have been. But that's because I started my "collection" of his books in paperback, so I have to wait a whole freakin' year to get his books in paperback after the hardcover releases. I'm going to eventually get all his books on my Kindle, but I'm not quite there yet. Knowing my OCD tendencies, I'll buy them for my ereader one at a time, beginning all the way over with his first release, and re-read them as I go.

Take care, stay cool, and I'll see you tomorrow with some wise words of wisdom.
