A Great Monday!

Okay, so this review is a week old, but still...I woke up to a friend emailing me that JERR (Just Erotic Romance Reviews Yahoo group) gave me a stellar review. Let me tell you, I want to wake up to great news like this every day!

Thank you so much, Silla, for your review. I am thrilled you enjoyed reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Take a peek at what Silla has to say...

Title: The Deciding Factor
Author: Ayla Ruse
Publisher: Total E Bound
Reviewer: Silla Beaumont
Rating: 5 Stars
Heat Level: O

Rapidly approaching the big 3-O, Aly decides to make some major changes...at least for the summer. Opting out of her safety of teaching summer school at her regular job, Aly finds herself teaching at the Centre of Erotic Arts. When she realizes the owner of the school was her serious college boyfriend, the two quickly and happily heat things up again. Sawyer can't believe his luck, the "one that got away" is back in his life and he's not letting her go again. When he tells his best friend Luke about the rekindled romance, Luke is thrilled for his friend...until he realizes that Sawyer's object of desire is HIS former high school girlfriend, HIS "one that got away." Aly is mortified when the men find out about each other, but quickly comes to her senses and implements her new "go for it" attitude. The three of them revisit their past in the most delicious ways possible, but is it realistic to hope for any sort of future?

I've gotta say, this is one of the best erotic romance novels I've read in a long time! The Deciding Factor is exquisitely written, and you can tell that Ms. Ruse put a lot of heart and soul into this book. From the intricate yet sensual plot to the varying emotions of the characters, Ms. Ruse has deliciously captured those strange and wonderful emotions everyone encounters when seeing their first love after a long time. The Deciding Factor is super witty, super sexy and super irresistible! I love that all three characters share a storied past separately, it makes the sex so much sweeter, more plausible and as a result hotter than in some stories I've read. I also liked that everything wasn't peachy keen between all the players all the time, and that Ms. Ruse explored the uncertainty and jealousy often ignored in menage stories. Overall, The Deciding Factor is a charming yet scorching, sexy summer read that will have you thinking of your own "firsts."
