Sneak Peek Sunday: Her Sexy Side

I'm excited to be a part of this weeks' Sneak Peek Sunday. Here are six paragraphs from my newest release, Her Sexy Side, available now from Changeling Press.

“Looks like you left something behind,” Kiera said to the empty classroom, picking up the paper and seeing immediately it was full of pencil sketches. Upon further study, however, she plopped her butt down on the floor and let her jaw drop.

The pictures were of her. Very provocative, very detailed drawings of her in little to no clothing.

One sketch had her hair unbound and her body dressed in a tiny bikini. Another image had her in some kind of barely-there armor, taking a warrior’s stance, and still the variety went on. They were good -- great, actually -- but they were unbelievably revealing. She was torn between being impressed with the artwork and feeling like she’d been spied on.

Then her eyes lit on one tiny image and wouldn’t budge. Max had drawn her from the back, at an angle and, in obvious ecstasy, straddling a very nicely drawn image of what had to be Max himself. Again, a part of her was shocked and surprised, not sure how to absorb the fact that the man she lusted after apparently shared her desires. At the same time, however, the more she stared at the pictures, the more she wanted everything before her to be true. Her inhibitions seemed to shed from her mind, her nipples tightened, her breath hitched, and if Max stepped back into this room, she knew without a doubt she’d beg him to take her right there over her desk.

When the intercom crackled, she shot up from the floor as if she’d been caught red-handed with a naughty magazine. The paper had dropped and she picked it up gingerly, as if it were alive. She turned it face down on her desk, leaned her hip against the edge and simply tried to calm her racing heart.

What had come over her? Sure, she’d had fantasies of her and Max together, but nothing as vivid as what he’d drawn -- or as vivid as how looking at the pictures had made her feel. Even now, her body hummed as if he’d really touched her. She gently rubbed her legs together and shivered when her thighs tingled as if he’d been between them and her private parts… whoa… no one had ever made her feel so needy.
